Gov’t votes tax tsunami, but it feels sorry for that

The voting process will take place on Sunday afternoon

Opposition party lashes out at SYRIZA MPs during the debate on the tax tsunami that the new omnibus bill brings.

The voting process will take place on Sunday afternoon, while many rally protests are scheduled in the centre of Athens to protest against the austerity measures.

The debate started again on Sunday morning, while the focus will be on the speeches of prime minister Alexis Tsipras and the political leaders of opposition parties.

SYRIZA MPs are mourning for the measures, but they vote them, with Alternate Minister of Environment Yannis Tsironis saying: “I will cry if I sell one PPC share, but it is so much better to sell one PPC share or ten shares of PPC than giving away the whole station, one of the most modern”.
