Myrtos beach, located in the region of Pylaros, in the Ionian island of Kefalonia, lies between the feet of 2 mountains, Kalon Oros and Agia Dynati.

“It is considered one of the most dramatic beaches in Greece with its mile-and-a-half long arc of dazzling white pebbles,” states the article.

Also, this beach was used as the location for the film ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’ and has been voted 12 times the best Greek beach.
