Beef steak with grape syrup dark beer and mustard seeds

Juicy beef steak marinated in mustard seeds, beer, spices, onion, honey and grape syrup , cooked on the grill … melts in the mouth

Ingredients

2 beef steaka about 550gr. each

    For the marinade

4 tsp. tablespoons olive oil

1 tsp.  mustard seeds

1 onion, finely chopped

½ bunch fresh thyme, chopped

½ bunch fresh oregano, chopped

1 dark beer

4 tsp. tablespoons grape syrup

2 tsp. honey

juice of one orange and a little zest

salt and pepper

Preparation method

Step 1

Pour the mustard seeds in a pan with olive oil and roast at a low temperature.

Add the onion and herbs and sauté lightly. Then pour the beer, grape syrup , honey, the juice and zest of the orange with a little salt and pepper and cook the marinade for 15 minutes. Let it cool.

Place the steaks in a deep dish care not to cover each other and pour over the marinade. Cover them with cling film and leave to marinate for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Drain the steaks from the marinade and cook on grill 5 minutes on each side while sprinkling the marinade to prevent drying.

step 5

Serve immediately and accompany the dishes with a garnish of your choice.

Tip: The cooking time depends on the thickness of the steak. Do not overdo because it will dry.
