Four people killed in shooting at Turkish university (photos-videos)

A faculty member has been detained

Four people were killed by a research assistant on April 5 at a university in the central Anatolian province of Eskişehir.

The research assistant killed the deputy dean, faculty secretary, teaching fellow and lecturer at the education faculty of the university.

The victims of the shooting were reportedly Eskişehir Osmangazi University personnel.

Numbers of police officers and ambulances were dispatched to the scene as students and the personnel of the university were evacuated immediately.

The assailant was detained by police following the attack.

The motivation of the attack is still unknown.
