Schools will not open and metro station will remain closed for a third day

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said that Brussels remains on the highest level of alert fearing that what happened in Paris could be repeated in the Belgian capital.

Schools will not open in Brussels tomorrow and metro station will remain closed for a third day. Officials, though, are working to return things to normal “as soon as possible” and they will reassess the situation tomorrow afternoon.

The city’s streets remained empty on Sunday, too, while soldiers continue to petrol the capital since the manhunt continues for a suspect missing since the attacks in Paris.
