Thirty years after he was given the Palme D’Or, Costa Gavras returns to the Cannes Film Festival as the honorary member of the Cannes Classics family.

Mr. Gavras will be present for the screening of his movie “Z”, in a remastered copy, which has been the point of reference of his whole career. The movie won the Committee Award of the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for a Best Foreign Film Academy Award in 1969.
