European Parliament President Martin Schulz told Italian newspaper La Repubblica, in an interview published on Tuesday, that he expected Greece to reach an agreement with its eurozone partners within a week so that economic aid can be disbursed.
“I think by the end of this week a new deal will be reached that should be sufficient to release the most urgent financing,” said Schulz in the interview that states that Greece would have “not more than three months” to present a “credible, detailed and definitive” plan.
