The exact date of the return of Greece’s lenders is expected to be announced at Eurogroup meeting to take place on Monday in Brussels, which will be attended by Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos.
According to reports, the most likely date for the return of the ‘Quartet’ is next Thursday, while their visit is expected to last until the end of next week (17-18 March). Basically, the review of the Greek program has already been made and both sides have estimated what measures are needed for Greek citizens to pay. Fiscal gap, pensions and refugee issue are expected to be put on the table.
The Greek issue is placed at the top of the agenda at Eurogroup meeting, where IMF’s stance will be heard. The government and the prime minister believe that the Fund is responsible for the delay, since they claim that they have agreed with Europeans on the basic points.
