Greek and Turkish F-16 fighters engage in dog fights – Turkey commits 40 violations

There were six air traffic infringements of the Athens FIR

The Turkish Air Force continued its provocations against Greece, as 10 F-16 fighter jets and a CN-235 reconnaissance aircraft committed 40 violations of Greek national airspace and six air traffic infringements.
The violations took place over the northern central and southern Aegean, with 35 committed by the F-16 fighter jets and 5 by the CN-235.

The aggressive actions resulted in three dog fights with the Hellenic Air Force, while six of the Turkish aircraft were armed during the engagements.

The Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules and the established practice.
