The Under 18 Greek men’s national basketball team has gained a spot in the Eurobasket 2015 final after beating Lithuania (68-58) in a hard fought battle Saturday night. Charalampopoulos led his side with 22 points and 14 rebounds in front of a vocal crowd in Volos, Greece. Greece will duke it out with neighbours and arch rivals Turkey Sunday (21.15) for the gold medal. This is the second time in the history of the U-18s Greek men’s basketball team to win a berth in the final, after they managed a second place in 2008.
