UPD: According to the lastest information, the gunman is deasd after being fired upon by police. He was reportedly a forenr Walmart employee and the man he was holding hostage was his manager. No one else was injured.

An armed man is reportedly holding at least one person hostage in a Walmart in Amarillo, Texas. The area has been cordoned off, while Amarillo police are asking citizens to avoid the area so officers can focus on the scene. Reports says swat teams are on route, while forces are focusing on evacuating the centre from employees and citizens, according to the officer in charge of the operations.
