Mitsotakis had warned Meimarakis for problems on election process

Kyriakos Mitsotakis released a letter sent on 11th November to Vangelis Meimarakis with which he warned him about certain system dysfunctions

One day after the cancellation of the elections for the new leader of New Democracy and the turmoil caused afterwards, the candidates and those responsible for the organization of the election process continue to blame each other and make announcements revealing a great gap among New Democracy executives.

Current ND’s president Vangelis Meimarakis referred to the reason of the cancellation of the elections mentioning that it was a technical problem which his opponents attempted to make it a political one and he blamed Antonis Samaras and Andreas Papammikos on the selection of the company responsible for the organization of the election process, because as Mr. Meimarkais said, they guaranteed for the company’s credibility.

Two hours after Mr. Meimarakis’s statements, candidate for ND leadership Kyriakos Mitsotakis released a letter sent on 11th November to Vangelis Meimarakis with which he warned him about certain system dysfunctions which could pose risks in seamlessly conducting the process of the elections.
