Amendments on erection of Islamic mosque goes to parliament

The construction of the Islamic mosque in Athens will cost the Greek taxpayers about 1 billion Euros, according to estimates by the General Accounting Office of the State. The relevant amendment was introduced in the Greek parliament and the clause concerning the erection of the mosque in Athens was included in the general draft concerning the production of electrical energy via renewable energy sources. The bill is expected to be submitted in parliaments on Thursday.
