ND blasts Turkey for unacceptable statement against Greek President

Turkey wants to raise tensions, statement says

Greece’s major opposition party New Democracy (ND) harshly criticised the Turkish Foreign Ministry for its unacceptable and demeaning statement against Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos. “The unacceptable statement and the unfounded claims that accompany it reveal irritation and and intention to create tensions”, ND said. ND’s statement continues by stressing that the interpretation of international law and treaties Turkey offered was once more arbitrary and contrary to the essence and letter of them. “And of course, the statement does not help in the Greek-Turkish relations”, the release concludes.
