According to a new poll, published in newspaper “Efimerida ton Syntakton” by pollsters “Pro Rata”, major Greek opposition party New democracy (ND) leads ruling SYRIZA by 12 percentage points. The findings of the poll show ND received 33% compared to SYRIZA’s 21% in the category of potential electoral influence. The Democratic Alignment came in third with a strong 14%, followed by the Communist party (KKE) with 12%, extreme-right Golden Dawn (GD) and To Potami with 8%, while Union Centrists received 7% and minor coalition partner ANEL 4%. Former Greek parliament Zoe Konstantopoulou’s party “Plefsi Eleftherias” also had a strong showing with 7%. 56% of the respondents said they were against elections in the next 6 months, with 38% in favour.
