Nobel-winning playwright Dario Fo has died at the age of 90. The Italian playwright was famous for satirical works like “The Accidental Death of an Antichrist”, which had earned him the 1997 Nobel Prize for Literature. The death of Fo was announced by the Italian government. The Italian Corriere della Sera newspaper reported that Fo had been suffering lung problems for months and had been hospitalised for 12 days. Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi sent his condolences on Thursday morning.
