Old buses converted into attractive, affordable ‘Love Hotels’

Accommodation costs start from 200 Yuan (£20) a night

A tourist hotspot in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, in northern China, converted some old and disused buses into affordable ‘Love Hotels’, designed especially for young couples.

Officials spent more than 100,000 Yuan (£10,370) to refurbish the interior of the vehicles and now each bus resembles a quality hotel room equipped with a TV, air-conditioning, kitchenette, and bathroom.

The rooms have been decorated based on themes such as popular animated characters including Hello Kitty and Doraemon aiming to attract young customers.

The couples can have the entire bus for themselves, with the vehicles parked permanently and conveniently near their desired tourist spot, as Daily Mail reports.
