Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet with outgoing President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias on Wednesday.

The meeting will take place at the Presidential Mansion at 12.00 pm (Athens time) in view of the Presidential Election to be held today at 19.30 in the Greek parliament.

The Prime Minister’s office also announced that Tsipras will meet with Stavros Theodorakis, the leader of centrist To Potami party at 13:00 and with former Deputy PM and PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos at 14:00.

The meetings are taking place at the request of both leaders, who asked to be briefed by the PM about the developments in Greece’s negotiations with its European partners.
