Cold makes a comeback to Greece following a fairweathered Christmas. On Friday, December 26, there will be local showers over the Ionian sea, western Greece and over the islands of the East Aegean. The weather will worsen in the afternoon hours with snowfall in Central and northern Greece and mountainous areas around the country.
The weather will continue to be cold with storms and snowfall on Saturday, December 27. Wind velocity will be from 6 to 7 beaufort. There will be a drop in temperatures.
The latest prognostics show a new wave of bad weather on Sunday, December 28.
