SEAJETS Acropolis Rally 2015 to start on Saturday

The 2-day event will be based for the 6th consecutive time in Loutraki

The official ceremony of SEAJETS Acropolis Rally 2015 will take place under the Acropolis, on Saturday, at 15:00 and will be completed on Sunday.

The stars of both European Rally Championship and Greek Rally Championship are preparing themselves for the most demanding event of the two calendars.

29 crews will be able to gather points for the ERC, while 17 of them are international competitors. The Greek crews will have a strong presence in the event, in both terms of quantity and quality.

The 2-day event will be based for the 6th consecutive time in Loutraki and will be held in 10-11 October. It is worth noting that although the main surface is gravel, 27% of the stages will be tarmac and this leads to a very high amount of complexity, maybe the highest in Acropolis’ recent history.
The SEAJETS Acropolis Rally 2015 welcomes the top contenders of the European titles, while a very pleasing fact is that the Greek spectators will have the chance to watch closely some top spec cars.

Amongst the top drivers are the Czech Jaromir Tarabus in a Skoda Fabia S2000, the Frenchman Charles Martin in a Peugeot 208 T16, the Portuguese champion Bruno Magalhaes in a similar car, the French Robert Consani in a Citroen DS3 R5 as well as our fellow compatriot Iordanis Serderidis in a same car.

Returning to the Greek participants, a number of crews will compete for the victory in Production Category and of course, for the victory of the Greek round.

Amongst them, there are experienced drivers such as George Philippides, behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, while the Greek Champion of 2012 Grigoris Nioras, will also be in action after several months of absence, in his Subaru Impreza N12.
