In the 1990s hey day of Greek trash TV Eleni Louka did the rounds on local channels touting her religious beliefs. Greek TV viewers soon tired of her but after a decade of absence she’s back with a vengeance – and this time it’s on a global scale after live-bombing international newscasts on the Greek crisis.

STRIKE ONE

She charged at CNN’s presenter Richard Quest as he presented the breaking-point tension in the streets after banks were closed and citizens were denied access to their deposits.

STRIKE TWO

Bloomberg reporter Joe Wiesenthal had the microphone taken right out of his hands. She was finally captured, the microphone was returned and she even agreed to a selfie with the reporter!
