The legal team of French actor Gerard Depardieu has stated that he is currently in police custody

This isn’t the first time Depardieu has faced such accusations

French actor Gerard Depardieu has been placed under police custody in Paris for questioning, as confirmed by his lawyer to CNN on Monday.

Reportedly, the 75-year-old actor voluntarily presented himself at a police station in Paris on Monday morning.

The questioning pertains to allegations of sexual assault made by two women, purported to have occurred on film sets.

This isn’t the first time Depardieu has faced such accusations.

Previously, he was formally investigated for rape and sexual assault following complaints from several women. Depardieu has consistently denied these allegations.
