Playboy magazine used to be synonymous with sexy and raunchy covers. The magazine’s appeal was so widespread in the western culture that many a celebrities would actually ask to be photographed on the its cover to get a boost in their careers. But there have been some celebs that tried but were rejected by the ‘Hef’. Here is a short list of some that were turned down.

1. Farrah Abraham

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham was turned down by Playboy and made the short list of those Hugh Hegfner did not want to see naked.\

2. Courtney Stodden
When she turned 18 the blonde tweeted that she wanted to be on the cover of Playboy, but Hefner responded negatively because she was too enhanced for someone of her age.

3. Montana Fishburne
The daughter of actor Lawrence Fishburne was in the in sex industry and known as Chippy D. Playboy turned her down because she was part of that industry.

4. Patricia Krentcil
Better known as the “Tan Mom,”Patricia Krentcil was willing to go nude for Playboy, but they weren’t willing to let her do it.

5. Audrina Partridge

The star of ‘The Hills’ was rejected when leaked topless pics were sent to the magazine

6. Bridget Marquard
You would think that being a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner would guarantee her a spot in the magazine, but The Girls Next Door star was denied.

7. Kelly Osbourne
Kelly Osbourne, British singer, writer, actress and TV personality wanted to pose in Playboy, but Hef didn’t see it happening.

8. Kate Gosselin
When Hugh Hefner asked if he would be interested in the mother of 8 for a spread in Playboy the answer was a resounding “NO!”
