TV Law unconstitutional, COS rules!

TV licences rendered null

After nearly five and a half hours of deliberations, the plenary of the Council of State (CoS) has ruled, with 14-11 votes, that the TV Law is unconstitutional, effectively rendering the recent tenders for the TV licenses as null and void. Reactions to the decision are expected by the Greek government. The court decision that all TV stations operating will continue to broadcast.
