The Division of Electronic Crime launches its new website www.cyberkid.gov.gr in the presence of the Minister of Public Order and Citizen Protection, Mr. Nikos Dendias, and the Minister of Education, Mr. Constantine Arvanitopoulos .

The conference is held today at 10 am, at the Intercontinental Hotel during which the new website will be presented as well as the new section that will be included in the website called “Psifiakh Alana” (Digital playground).

In this section, all visitors will have access to sixteen digital traditional games (grumpy, chess, checkers, etc.) according to their age. The content of this website has consultive character and its presentation is made using modern technologies in three thematic sections: for children up to 8 years , for children 8-12 years old and for parents .

The conference will be attended by more than 1,000 children of all school levels aiming to inform them about the dangers of the internet, how to tackle the challenges of the digital world and exploit the opportunities offered by new technologies.
