It started with “The Telegraph” when it described Odeon Herodes as the most spectacular theater in the world.

Today the Canadian newspaper “Globe and Mail” placed Odeon Herodes second in the world’s top live performance theaters list.The list published is entitled “Top venues for live theatre.”.

The feature article makes reference to the theater’s history stressing that it is considered to be one of the best examples of an authentic Greek amphitheater and is described as the perfect place where modern music meets with the ancient ambiance. It is the perfect theater for all artists”.

First place went to Minack Theatre, in Porthcurno, England.
