PASOK president Evangelos Venizelos unleashed an attack against SYRIZA on Saturday, accusing the opposition party of “flinging filth” against the government.

According to Mr. Venizelos, SYRIZA “is not a political party, it is a vehicle of protest”, adding that “it forms foreign policy without partners”.

Speaking on Alpha TV station, Venizelos stated that Alexis Tsipras visited Russia without consulting the Foreign Ministry and the Government, noting that this only happens in Syria.

Besides SYRIZA, Mr. Venizelos also mentioned the background of the summit in Cannes, saying for all that happened back then “all of us who were present very well know what happened”.

According to PASOK’s president, Papandreou will speak “because he owes it to history. And we will tell the whole truth”.
