Equity prices rose at this morning’s opening on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) with the basic share price index up 0.14% standing at 1,217.29 points at 11:00 a.m. and a turnover at 7.55 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.30% and the FTSE/ASE MID40 index increased by 0.05%.

The biggest gains were in Media (up 2.11%), Public Utilities (1.08%) and in Chemicals (0.85%). The biggest losses were in Constructions (down 0.34%) and Industrial products (down 0.31%).

Out of the stocks traded, 41 increased, 15 dropped and 6 remained unchanged.
