The 34-year old Irishman is one of the many millionaires in this world that weren’t doing well at school. Having stayed in the same class three times, he quit school at 17. But as Mark Zuckerberg says himself, Steve Jobs, the Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga are just some of the names that have succeeded in their professional area without having gone to university.

The truth is that when you give up school, Harbison did not intend to become a millionaire businessman. His father insisted to know one “art”, and so he became a chef.

While he made a reputation for himself as a chef, he felt trapped in this job. “I quickly realized that being a chef is a very tough job. The kitchen becomes too hot, you never see the outside world and there is too much pressure, “he says.

Therefore, he turned back to restaurants with Michelin stars and walked into the kitchen of private yachts. In his career, he has cooked for Bill Gates, Paris Hilton, the U2 and as he says, “basically for everyone who has gone to the Cannes Film Festival.”
