Italian news group Corriere Della Sera, released a video claiming that it shows the Malaysian Airlines crash in Ukraine. The video instantly became viral on the internet.

However, a few hours later, it was revealed that the camera has recorded the shooting of another aircraft, and not the one that cost the lives of 298 people.

The video misled millions of people around the world, after going viral on the web.

Specifically, Corriere TV said: “The images of the falling airplane are going around TV and the internet, but they are false. This video is a recording of an Antonov An-30 aircraft which crashed a month ago, in June, in Ukraine”.
