The Commission also announced the increase of the amount of fruit production which the producers organizations may withdraw from the markets and therefore will be free to distribute, from 5% to 10% in order to avoid collapse in the price of certain agricultural products.

Moreover, producers who are not members of the organization should receive 50% of the amounts provided under the existing financial contribution by the Union, with the EU stressing the need to meet the same or similar conditions as those obtained from producer organizations.

In terms of promotion, the four countries of the EU, Greece, Spain, France and Italy will receive 3 million euro, with Greece to take under this 317.215 euro.
