People of Mykonos offered rare woven art pieces from their personal and family collections for an exhibition which highlights the tapestry of the island of Winds.

The reputation of the handmade textile of Mykonos that once took a global dimension, is now endangered. Within textiles and clothing, weaving tools, photo galleries and the press of the time, the exhibition “textile of Mykonos” will be presented at the conference hall of KDEPPAM in Mykonos and aims to bring the audience back in touch with the art of the loom.
