“Foretelling Myths” exhibition to open on September 4

According to the artist, "this exhibition’s theme is founded on the idea that predicting the future originates in myths from the past."

Newsroom September 3 06:39

The Michael Cacoyannis Foundation presents “Foretelling Myths,” a solo exhibition of works by Sofia Kalogeropoulou, an internationally acknowledged painter in the naïve style.

According to the artist, “this exhibition’s theme is founded on the idea that predicting the future originates in myths from the past.”

In her opinion, mythology in its timeless symbolisms makes up humanity’s true history, as it comprises the peoples’ memory.

The exhibition will open on Thursday, September 4 and will run until September 18.

Days: September 4 – 18, 2014
