Equity prices rose on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index increasing by 0.05% standing at 1,053.85 units at 11.00 a.m. with turnover at 6.10 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks increased by 0.13%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.17%.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Banks (up 1.07%) and in Oil and Gas (up 1.05%).

The biggest losses were in Telecoms (down 1.35%) and in Public Utilities (down 0.89%).
