1,931 tourists disembarked from the Mein Schlif cruise ship on boats as the German captain refused to anchor at the port as he didn’t like the position offered to him by the Coastal Guard of Rhodes, choosing instead to anchor in the sea and send out tourists using boats.

This was particularly tiring and stressful even though they approached the situation with a stiff upper lip.
