While the fact that 68-year-old Susan Sarandon is dating a man 31 years her junior, 37-year-old screenwriter Jonathan Bricklin, hasn’t gone unnoticed in Hollywood, the talented actress kept her lips sealed on the matter, up until now.

Sarandon decided recently to open up about her relationship with Bricklin that started in early 2010, several months after she and Tim Robbins announced the end of their 23-year relationship.

Although there has been much talk regarding the couple’s age difference, the Oscar winner actress doesn’t seem to mind at all.

“It’s the soul of a person that interests me,” she told Hello! magazine. ‘When you are in love, the question of age, sex, colour no longer hold any importance.’

Sarandon also revealed in her interview that they don’t live yet under the same roof. ‘We’re not an ordinary couple,’ she stressed.
