Jihadists preach war through a social media propaganda, “bombing” Twitter full of messages.
According to a report cited by American media, fanatic ISIS members post an average of 90 times a minute on Twitter. According to the website “International Business Times”, this data stems from a survey done by a NGO company, “Sakina”, based in Saudi Arabia, which shed line on online chatter between Islamists. The research also showed that the terrorist organizations use social media as a means of recruitment and spreading of ideas. The NGO supports that a total of 129,600 tweets have been uploaded by ISIS member accounts only in October. He called for governments to censor these “tweets” which are uploaded on social media, aiming to propagate the hate of fanatics.
While jihadists are declaring war through social media, all authorities are on high alert since the Shiites are celebrating Ashura.
