The survey conducted by the prosecutor following the complaints by members of SYRIZA on “MP bribing” ahead of the election of the President of the Republic, did not result to the slightest indication of as such and as a result the case was closed.

Based on the above, government representative Sofia Voultepsi stated that ” Prosecutors decision is clearly  a slap on the wrist for SYRIZA, for trying to poison the political climate in the country and to manipulate MPs ahead of the election of the President of the Republic. ”

“The alleged  complaints by Mr. Skourletis and the others proved lies and slanders and it is a sample of appalling political behavior. least that SYRIZA and its leader  can do is to  apologize to the Parliament and to the Greek people”.
