During his statement to the parliamentary tv channel, Mr. Kostantinos Mitsotakis declared his position against early elections.

The former Prime Minister stressed the need of the constitutional review to proceed, while he noted that the President of the Republic should be elected directly by the people.

Mr. Mitsotakis among other stated ” I personally believe that we should not go to early elections. The current government should finish its 4 year course but not without revising the Constitution”.
