Equity prices rose on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) with the basic share price index up 2.3% at 843.44 points at 11 a.m. Turnover was at 2.39 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 1.39 percent, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.53 percent.
