The second payment for the heating oil social benefit has been deposited today, on those who have made requests until the middle of last week, and have been approved, whereas it will only be given to those who didn’t receive the first payment.

Specifically, beneficiaries will receive a total of 46 million euro today

Applications submitted for heating allowance have broken any previous record, having surpassed 900,000. Over 800,000 have been accepted, which means that applicants are entitled to either receive an advance payment of 25% of the allowance or the entire tranche after the oil has been bought.
