Prime Minister Antonis Samaras’ poor image at his first campaign rally in Larissa caused the reaction of government staff who requested the removal of the director responsible.
Poorly lit, with sound problems, without shots of the high attendance, the impressions from the rally in a Larissa hotel were not the best. Responsible is company Newtons Laboratory, in charge of the election campaign, who hired director Mr. Aris Lychnaras. The office of the Prime Minister asked for director Vassilis Vlachodimitropoulos to assume responsibility. The company, however, states that Mr. Vlachodimitropoulos was responsible, but due to personal problems, last Saturday, Mr. Lycnharas took over and that there is no issue to be raised, since Mr. Vlachodimitropoulos has returned.
Meanwhile, the web-war still holds strong. An internet video shows an older interview of Mr. Alexis Tsipras stating that he is not religious and that he does not want to be ridiculed by the world as he visits and piously kisses images in churches. At the same time, snapshots of his pilgrimage to Mount Athos are displayed…
