Johnny Depp visited Berlin to promote his new film, “Mortdecai”. During an interview he expressed his aversion to actors who decide to start up new music bands.

The 51 year old actor who has frequently appeared in live concerts and recordings of music industry hallmarks such as Aerosmith, Paul McCartney, Willie Nelson and Ryan Adams, stated he has been blessed with such opportunities. As a guitarist he feels privileged to have been part of such talented musicians’ activities and to not having to start up his own band. “I hate this idea. You’ll come watch me play because you’ve seen me in a dozen movies. But it shouldn’t be like that. You want people to come hear you play”.
