Tsipras: There’s no backtracking to era of Memorandums

We might as well invite the Troikans to take over our Ministries and MP seats, said the Prime Minister

Newsroom February 11 12:08

“We face a critical milestone”.

“There is no way back. There is no backtracking to Memorandums”, said the Greek Prime Minister in Parliament, completing the round of addresses before asking MPs to give a vote of confidence.

The Greek PM stressed that at Wednesday’s Eurogroup not only Yanis Varoufakis but the whole country will be present, underlying what he called the unprecedented all-out support for the government, even before receiving its parliamentary vote of confidence.

“Those who invest in scenarios dealing with a parenthesis of government commit a huge mistake,” he said, addressing the opposition.

“We are not negotiating a Memorandum” he repeated, but a loan agreement.

The Greek Prime Minister also sent out a message to Germany, saying that “Leading powers gain their hegemony not with extermination and punishment, but with solidarity and persuasion”.

“Whoever bets on power and conflict, will very quickly realize that is making a tragic mistake. All they do is Injuring Europe”, he said.

“We say no to austerity, just because we want to make the debt sustainable “he noted.

“We ask for space and time”.

“Our people ended austerity”.

“We are not asking for more money, but specific facilitation”, he explained.

As long as we have our people on our side we will not be blackmailed by nobody

Since Merkel did not reply to Obama about what she suggests, let’s send to Mr. Obama Samaras’ speech
No matter how much Samaras and Schauble insist for an extension we will not ask for one

The 25th of January marked the end of austerity memorandums – We have no right to bring them back
