Princeton University hosted recently a tribute concert to one of the most successful and progressive contemporary Greek lyricists, Lina Nikolakopoulou.
The concert that took place on March 1, was organized by the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies, Orange Pan-Hellenic Association, and Syn-Phonia Entertainment Inc.
Lina Nikolakopoulou is one of the most renowned Greek lyricists, having written over 400 songs in the past four decades. She has collaborated with several important composers from Greece and beyond, including Giannis Spanos, Stauros Xarchakos, Mikis Theodorakis, Thanos Mikroutsikos, and Manos Hadjidakis.
The successful lyricist flew from Greece to attend the event celebrating her most enduring works and significant musical collaborations.
