Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece on Saturday said he was willing to consider exploiting Church assets in a bid to pay off the country’s foreign debt. In an interview with private SKAI TV he clarified that he was not going to sell off Church property but exploit it.

The head of the Autocephalus Church of Greece said the issue would be discussed with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras “in good time”.
