The government’s cabinet is meeting today, under the PM. The government has two weeks of hurdles to reach a deal. The 11th of May Eurogroup is now gone, the government’s coffers are running dry, and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis postponed the estimate of a deal until the end of the month, perhaps an emergency Eurogroup on Greece on the 25th of May.

Government officials stress that it is up to European leaders to show needed governance initiatives. The government wishes to identify and set some “Red lines” like employment and insurance matters in order to achieve this agreement.

After yesterday’s reports, however, any scenarios of early elections or a referendum seems to be distancing itself from reality.
