The older sister of deceased British fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s older revealed this week how her iconic brother was sexually abused by her first husband, who is also dead now.

According to the Daily Maily, Janet McQueen claims that husband Terence Hulyer viciously beat her and also abused Alexander, known as “Lee” by his family.

“He was quite young when he saw it and the younger you are the more it probably stays in your mind,” she said of the assaults inflicted on her by Hulyer, as she claimed.

McQueen, who was openly gay, died in 2010 as a result of suicide.
