The European Central Bank on Wednesday again raised the Emergency Liquidity Assistance ceiling ELA for Greeks banks by 1.1 billion euros, with the total now at 84.3 billion euros.
Additionally, although the issue of collaterals was discussed, no decision was taken on the issue.
The most recent ELA ceiling hike is attributed, again, to the continued flight of Greek bank deposits.
According to reliable sources, the Greek side had lobbied for the ceiling to be increased by three billion euros.
