Porn stars do not exactly gain public recognition through their academic achievements. But did you know that there some very smart actresses in the pornographic industry who hold PhDs and double masters? Site Ranker compiled a list of the most intelligent porn stars. A Greek tops the list.

1. Sasha Grey 

Sasha Grey (Marina Ann Hantzis), albeit not having a degree of any sort, takes top spot, according to Ranker, because she turned pornography into an ‘art form’.

2. Shy Love

Shy Love starred in 250 adult films in her career. She graduated from high school at 16, then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and two Masters Degrees, one in Accounting and another in Taxation. She is a public certified accountant.

3. Asia Carrera

Asia starred in over 275 porn movies. She studied piano as a child, and was so good at it that she performed at Carnegie Hall twice. She has an IQ of 156, while she studies a double Major in Business and Japanese which she never finished due to her moving into the adult industry.

4. A.J Bailey

The Scottish 29-year-old hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and studied Art at St. Andrews, the top University where Prince William attended.

5. Jenna Jameson

While Jenna’s academic career is not anything special, she is given credit for her outstanding debating skills. In 2001 she was invited to the prestigious Oxford Union to debate a proposed British Law against pornography. She led her side to victory with 204 in favour of her position against 24.

6. Laurie Wallace

Another Scot on the list is Laurie Wallace, who has a double major in German and Political Science from Loyola College in Maryland. She later attended Law School at George Washington University, before following her calling in the adult movie industry…

7. Nina Hartley

Nina graduated Nursing school from San Francisco University and is a registered nurse.

8. Joanna Angel

Joanna has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature with a minor in Film Studies from Rutgers University. She is extremely well spoken and very eloquent.

9. T.J. Hart

Hart graduated with a triple major in psychology, sociology and arts, with a minor in early childhood education from the Colorado University. She was also a member of the 1988 US Olympic swim team.

10. Lorelei Lee

28-year old Lorelei is a graduate student at NYU in the creative writing program, while she also graduated from San Francisco University in 2008.
